This is a multicultural custom jacket, created during an Instagram 2 hour live session. Customized in a very unusual way, painted on top of a model from the beginning to the very end. This process was an experimental performance, the only performance we were allowed during pandemic time. This jacket combines both Russian and English
words associated with a model because she’s a Ukrainian immigrant speaking both of these languages. They represent her past experiences and present way of living.
The overall composition is quite chaotic, expressive and emotional. Representing the character of this particular person who’s an energetic and positive singer. Bright yellow highlights her positive attitude in life, black connects to her fails, mistakes and negative experience in life that’s left behind, and white color focuses on the blank future which is yet to be painted.
I started working as a barista at Ethica Coffee Roasters after doing a calligraphy collaboration with the shop. And it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t create anything custom for
my outfit, therefore I present you a custom Nestor apron. It has different transparency levels which keep the composition subtle but yet sophisticated. Small details on the pockets say “pocket”, “ideas”, and “pens”.
Customized old leather shoes for my friend with a freestyle approach. Both shoes have similar composition, but different ideas. Right one is about creativity while left one is about love. Bold white words have a great contrast with the shoes themselves and copper accents add on to the overall fresh look.
Lettered on top of the old client’s shoes. Decided to go with gold monochrome look to keep it simple and elegant. The quote on these says:
“Keep walking, don’t stop”.
